A crash involving a Clay County Fire Rescue ambulance and an SUV resulted in several injuries on Sunday.
The ambulance was headed to a hospital with a critical patient when the crash occurred, 4JAX reported.
Three firefighters and the SUV driver were among those who suffered minor injuries. There was no word on the patient being transported.
The ambulance, which had its lights and siren activated, ran a red light on Knight Box Road and struck the SUV which had the green, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Following impact, the ambulance struck a pole that partially came down across it.
