Chicago Firefighters Battle Blaze in Frigid Temperatures

A bus was brought to the scene for residents who were sent out into the cold, Chicago fire officials said.

Chicago firefighters battled the brutal elements as well as intense flames Tuesday night.

Six people who escaped the apartment building fire sat in a bus to warm up while the firefighting effort was ongoing, abc7 reported. 

There were no injuries reported in the fire that sent residents out into the cold.

The fire rmains under investigation.
