Fire Station 27 is located just south of downtown L.A. The original Station 27, which is located right next door, was heavily damaged in the Northridge earthquake. New Station 27 was built just to the south, and old Station 27 is now the LAFD Museum. The new station was designed to compliment the older station. Station 27 is a very busy station, running a task force, battalion chief, and 2 rescue ambulances out of it.
