Massachusetts firefighters were evacuated from a second fire station in less than a month Thursday.
Plymouth crews left Station 7, which was built in 1908, after pieces of concrete from the apparatus bay fell into the basement and exposed disintegrating rebar underneath, Wicked Local reports. Fire Chief Ed Bradley told the news outlet that these conditions were "unacceptable."
Last month, firefighters were forced to leave the department's headquarters when roof repairs sent down mold and debris into the offices and living area. Currently, Station 7 is to be phased out once a new firehouse is built.
