Houston FD Investigating Station Used in Seductive Video

An investigation of Station 46 could end in disciplinary action after a marketing company used the firehouse for a video shoot "inconsistent" with department values.

A Houston fire station and a group of firefighters are under investigation for allowing a local marketing company, The Selective Marketing Group, to shoot a seductive music video at HFD's Station 46.

The department has shared that the investigation could possibly end in disciplinary action, per Matt Dougherty at KHOU. In a statement emailed to Chron, it called the shoot "inconsistent" with HFD values.

"A formal investigation has been filed by Department Executives regarding the unsanctioned photoshoot in question. The extent of the disciplinary action will be determined at the conclusion of the investigation. These actions are not consistent with the core values of the department and its members," the statement reads.

The videos in question are posted to the Instagram account "bookedbymolo" and have been viewed over 1,000 times. One of the two videos has been removed from Instagram as of early Wednesday afternoon.

According to HFD, no one gave the women permission to dance on Station 46's fire trucks.

A spokesperson for the video told KHOU the intent of the video was "completely innocent." They said the group passed by fire station 46 and thought the trucks would be a good background.

"The selective group deeply regrets any misunderstanding the Instagram post may have caused," the spokesperson told KHOU. "It was never their intention to cast any negativity on the Houston Fire Department or bring any harm to the credibility of its employees."
