Ring Doorbell Allows Homeowner to Thank Grand County, CO, Firefighters

Tom Stonebraker said Grand County Assistant Fire Chief Michael Scott didn't expect someone to talk to him.

Through his Ring doorbell, a Colorado homeowner has been keeping tabs on a wildfire as it came closer to his house.

But, Tom Stonebraker did more than watch.

He spoke to Grand County Assistant Fire Chief Michael Scott and thanked him for protecing his house as crews were busy wth the Quarry Fire.

Stonebraker said Scott didn't expect to hear someone talking to him. But, thanked him for his offer to help with supplies.
