Incident timers are wall mounted displays with red led digits either 2.3 or 4 inches tall, which are actuated by the dispatch office at the start of an incident to provide the 10 minute alerts required by law. These individual units are separate from any computer system and therefore are not affected by other operations associated with the incident period.
