Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department released a video showing the public the challenges they faced as fire spread through a low-rise apartment building that was days from opening last month.
The fire the RISE Doro apartment complex downtown eventually consumed the five-story, $60 million apartment building, News4Jax.com reported.
The hour-long video shows various perspectives of the scene, matched with radio traffic that details the difficulties firefighters had accessing the fire and battling it.
Eventually, command pulled crews from the building to use aerial ladders on the fire as it spread through the wood-frame structure.
