Summary
The webinar is to assist with the understanding of the creditable training items in the Fire Suppression Rating Schedule, section 580 during the ISO/Verisk survey. This section of the survey has a maximum of 9 points of the 50 points within the Fire Section of the rating schedule. During this webinar we will be discussing what is creditable and how documentation on the type of training conducted is important when credit is applied to Facility Training and the use of the facility; Company Training; the Officer Training Program and the Continued Education of those officers; New Driver/Operator Program and the Continued Education of those members; Hazardous Materials Training Program, and the department's Recruit Training Program, along with the Building Familiarization for Pre-Incident Planning Program. The understanding of each of these sections and how to document them will assist the department with preparing for the ISO visit and possibly maximize the allowable points.
