Dugout Size-Up: Inside Banana Ball with Jared Donalson
Amid all the schedule announcements and roster decisions for Banana Ball's The Firefighters, Dugout Size-Up: Inside Banana Ball brings in one of their best pitchers, Jared "Donny" Donalson.
Listen to Donalson's journey as he talks about his path to committing to the sport instead of pursuing a major league baseball career. Donalson goes into detail about his first three years playing Banana Ball, bringing him to 2026, his first year with The Firefighters.
The prolific pitcher says the team's atmosphere comes from their conversations and visits to fire stations, creating a fire service-like brotherhood and sisterhood. He has also provided some memorable experiences for families he met during those fire station visits.
Firehouse’s Ryan Baker asks Donalson what has impressed him most about the ins and outs of the Banana Ball organization, and why fans should take the leap and become fans of the sport and The Firefighters.
