Houston, Texas, Fire Department has taken delivery of a new heavy rescue built by SVI Trucks on a Spartan Gladiator cab and chassis.

Houston, Texas, Fire Department has taken delivery of a new heavy rescue built by SVI Trucks on a Spartan Gladiator cab and chassis.

The new unit is powered by a 500-hp Cummins engine and has a Onan 25,000-watt generator and a Command Light 8,000-watt light tower and two Weldon Vista IV displays.

Within the 26-foot body there's a small forward walk-in change area.
