Tanker 2 Carries 3,000 Gallons for Cuero, Texas

The Cuero Fire Department in Cuero, Texas, has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire 3,000-gallon all-poly tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2-106 Chassis.

The Cuero Fire Department in Cuero, Texas, has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire 3,000-gallon all-poly tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2-106 Chassis. To fight fire, it has a 3,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank, a Darley LSP 1,000-gpm PTO Pump, a 4-inch direct tank fill and tank level gauge, and two side and one rear stainless steel Newton 10-inch square dump valves with 36-inch telescoping chutes.

It's also equipped with stainless steel “Tip-Down” portable tank carrier and a 3,000-gallon portable tank, All-POLY construction, “sweep-out” style compartments, including ROM anodized aluminum roll-up doors, door activated LED lighting, vents, and floor dry decking, NFPA compliant LED lighted folding steps and grab rails, rear view camera, six Whelen scene lights, Whelen Pioneer LED telescoping lights, full width and length hose bed, pre-connected hose crosslays, adjustable .75-inch polypropylene dividers and Hose Covers, two 5- x 10-inch PVC flexible hard suction hoses and carriers, NFPA compliant Whelen LED warning light package and siren/ speaker, NFPA compliant LED DOT lighting, NFPA compliant red and yellow chevron striping, white reflective striping, complimenting gold leaf striping, and customer lettering.
