The Brownfield, Maine, Volunteer Fire Department has recently taken delivery of an HME 3,000-gallon commercial tanker, built on an International 7600 chassis.

The Brownfield, Maine, Volunteer Fire Department has recently taken delivery of an HME 3,000-gallon commercial tanker, built on an International 7600 chassis. It is powered by an International 475-hp and a unique pairing of an Eaton UltraShift PLUS 10-speed automatic transmission. It's the first transmission of its kind mated to a midship pump. It also has a Hale 1,000 gpm Qpak pump with a 36-inch pump house and HME Hydra Technology system. It also has a Kussmaul battery charger with compressor pump, a back-up camera system, folding tank rack, FRC LED scene lights, and Whelen warning lights.
