Delmar Volunteer Fire Company, Sussex County, Del., has taken delivery of a 4,000-gallon tanker built on a Peterbilt cab and chassis by 4 Guys Fire Trucks.

Delmar Volunteer Fire Company, Sussex County, Del., recently took delivery of a 4 Guys Fire Trucks tanker built on a Peterbilt cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins ISX15 550 hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS 6-speed transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX XS 1,500 gpm pump, a 4,000-gallon UPF Poly Tank III with a stainless steel wrap, a Newton 3-way swivel rear dump chute, Trident air primer, FRC Total Control pressure governor, and TFT rear LDH and 2.5-inch direct tank fills. It's also has a Kussmaul auto-eject charging system, LED compartment lighting, slide-out trays, R.O.M. roll-up doors, hard suction sleeve tunnels under the catwalk, rear LED scene lighting, a Voyager rear-facing camera, Federal QB2 mechanical siren. It was sold through Commonwealth Fire Equipment, Winchester, Va., by Bob Purcell.
