Hartley, IA, Firefighters Take Delivery of New Tanker/Pumper

The Hartley, IA, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control, All-Poly, tanker-pumper.

The Hartley, IA, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control, All-Poly, tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis with a Cummins ISL-350 HP Engine and an Allison 3000 EVS Transmission. It is equipped with a 3,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank, Hale MBP 1,000-gpm pto pump and Newton 10-inch square dump valves, two on the sides with 36-inch telescoping chutes and one onthe back with a flip chute.

It is also equipped with a Zico electric, portable tank carrier and a 3,000-gallon portable tank. It also has Whelen scene and warning lights, an Elkhart Sidewinder electric monitor and a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner with auto eject.
