    East Stroudsburg, Pa., has placed into service a 2016 Pierce Velocity 2,000 gpm top-mount pumper with 750-gallon water tank.

    East Stroudsburg, PA, has placed into service a 2016 Pierce Velocity 2,000 gpm top-mount pumper with 750-gallon water tank. It is powered by a Cummins ISX 15 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Pierce 2,000 gpm pump, and a 750-gallon water tank. Other features include a crosslay hose bed, two speed lays, a driver's side rear discharge, ground ladders stored in a hose bed compartment, LED compartment lighting strips, a backup camera, a Harrison 6,000-watt generator and a storage compartment behind the rear seats.
