Brookfield, IL, Fire Department in west suburban Chicago is excited to take delivery of a new 2017 Pierce Enforcer PUC pumper. It replaces a 1986 pumper. It is the first BFD unit to have built in foam capability and has EMS storage accessible from both inside and out on the driver's side. Scene lighting is provided by three Hi-Viz LED strip lights; one on the brow, and one recessed into the body on each side, possibly a first for Pierce. It is built on a Pierce Enforcer cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins engine and an Allison transmission. It's equipped with a 1,500-gpm pump and a 500-gallon tank. It also has a 2,000-watt generator.
