A quick look at some of recent fire apparatus deliveries around the country.

River’s Edge Volunteer Fire Department in Braddock, PA, worked with Pierce Mfg. to build this short wheelbase pumper to respond in their hilly response district.    Built on the Enforcer chassis, the rig has an overall length of 29' 10.75" and is equipped with a Waterous 2,000-gpm pump and 75-gallon water tank. Click here for more.

Sutphen built this pumper/tanker for the Lumberland Fire Department in Glen Spey, NY. The Sutphen Monarch heavy duty chassis has an eight-person cab and has a Hale QMAX 2,000-gpm single-stage pump, 2,500-gallon tank with 206 cubic feet of compartment space. Click here for more.

BME Fire Trucks delivered two Type 6 engines to the Coal Creek Canyon, CO, Fire Department built on Dodge 550 4x4 chassis. It is equipped with a Darley 1/2 AGE pump, 300-gallon poly tank, Hannay hose reel and a Whelen emergency lighting package. Click here for more.

The Pebble Township Fire Department in Waverly, OH, took delivery of this pumper/tanker built by Rosenbauer with an FX body mounted on a Freightliner M2 chassis. Features include a Hale RSD-F 1,500-gpm pump and a 2,000-gallon tank. Click here for more.

SVI Trucks built this heavy rescue for the Port Coquitlam, BC,  Fire Rescue on a Spartan Metro Star LFD chassis with a 232-inch wheelbase. Features include a Onan Protec 20k-Watt PTO generator, Command Light Knight Series light tower, OnScene Solutions heavy-duty aluminum cargo slides, seven rooftop compartments, and a Ramsey 9,000 lb. 12-volt electric portable winch.
