InQuarters - In Quarters: FDNY Squad 41
Squad 41 has been serving the South Bronx and Harlem for over a century. Originally Engine 41, it became a squad company in the 1990's. An elite company, members have special training in haz-mat, dive rescue, and technical rescue incidents. Squads are considered a special operations company and cover a larger territory. Squad 41 has a proud tradition from a very ornate firehouse at 330 E. 150th Street, surviving the war years nicely.
