Maine Firefighter Dies Hours After Response

Responders in Maine are preparing to offer a final salute to one of their own.

Norway Firefighter David Millett, 62, collapsed just hours after he assisted with a porch fire on May 10.

He had 42 years of service in the fire department.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 at Chandler Funeral Home in Oxford.

Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Thursday.

This brings to 38 the number of firefighters who died on duty this year.
