A news helicopter captured the scene as burning debris landed on a Dallas firefighter and continued to burn until another firefighter patted the flames out.
Dallas firefighters were battling a house fire around 5:30 p.m. Thursday on East Woodin Boulevard.
In the video footage from NBCDFW.com, the firefighter is on the top of a ground ladder and appears to be operating a hoseline into the attic when a pile of burning debris falls down.
The firefighter appears to be unaware of the fire growing on them. That is, until another firefighter climbs the ladder and pats the flames out.
"Without missing a beat, the firefighters continued to fight the blaze," the television station reported.
According to the television report, no injuries were sustained.
