Cruiser, Fire Trucks Collide in Canada

The officer was seriously injured, and was pinned in the vehicle.

A Canadian police officer was injured when her cruiser collided with two fire trucks outside Cambridge Tuesday afternoon.

All were responding to a fire call near North Dumfries when the collision occurred.

The firefighters immediately went to the aid of the officer, who was pinned in the wreckage.

She was flown to Hamilton General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, while five firefighters were transported for minor issues.

The crash is under investigation.
