The driver of a car that crashed into a Durham fire station Monday suffered minor injuries.
The woman told police she saw a blinding light before crashed into Fire Station 14 on Ulmstead Road around 4 p.m., according to local television station WRAL.
Fire officials said a firefighter had just walked away from the area where the car entered the station. The bedroom and bathroom area had extensive damage.
No firefighters were injured, the TV station reported.
Police were called to investigate the cause of the crash.
