    Massive Fire Consumes FL Tractor Business

    A raging commercial fire at Ocala Tractor left the building destroyed after firefighters worked overnight Thursday to bring it under control.

    An overnight fire at Ocala Tractor required nearly 60 Marion County firefighters to control it. Authorities said they first arrived around 4:01 a.m. and found heavy smoke conditions showing from the roof.

    Firefighters made entry into the structure for an offensive attack but had to retreat due to deteriorating conditions. Firefighters re-deployed to defensive operations to extinguish the fire.

    In all, 29 units and 58 Marion County firefighters operated at the incident, and the cause is under investigation.
