Firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department battled a two-alarm fire at a UPS facility in Lancaster that caused extensive damage to the structure and vehicles.
L.A. County firefighters were called to the UPS facility Monday morning for a reported fire in the building.
The fire department said the fire quickly spread from the facility — where it originated — to trucks and trailers that were sitting nearby, according to a report from ABC 7 Los Angeles.
Fire officials said 25 workers were evacuated safely from the building, 25 UPS trucks and 10 tractor trailers were damaged during the fire that required 70 firefighters to control.
One person was sent to a local hospital with a burn injury.
