An ambulance burst into flames in the parking lot of Sentara Leigh Hospital around 1 p.m. yesterday.
Norfolk Fire Rescue were able to get the fire under control and prevent any damage to another ambulance parked nearby.
13 News Now reports that no one was injured in the fire, although another car had heat exposure damage.
Photos on the Norfolk Fire Rescue Facebook page show the ambulance's engine compartment completely engulfed in flames.
Engines 4 and 10, Ladder 10 and Battalion 3 responded to the fire.
