Firefighters needed to contend with two boats that caught fire at the same time on a Massachusetts lake Thursday.
Crews from Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire-Rescue and Emergency Services responded to a call just before noon involving a burning boat on Wequaquet Lake, Hyannis News reports. Flames then spread to a second boat that was on the lake.
Before the fires could be put out, the boats needed to be towed to a boat ramp. Once there, it took firefighters—using a nearby hydrant along the shoreline—about two hours to extinguish both blazes, according to the News.
