Firefighters extinguished a burning car on a California highway early Friday, pulling up as flames engulfed the vehicle.
The car caught fire at about 6:45 a.m. on Interstate 5, near Florin Road, in Sacramento, and a KOVR-TV camera crew captured the arrival of firefighters to the scene. As they unfurled the hose from their apparatus, flames flared from under the car.
The fire was quickly put out once firefighters began dousing the vehicle with water. According to the TV station, an individual was on the shoulder of the roadway calling for help, and it's not clear if that person was hurt.
