Three Charlotte firefighters were injured at a two-alarm house fire early Thursday.
A firefighter who encountered an issue declared a Mayday was rescued by fellow crew members.
The firefighters were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A smoke alarm alerted three residents and their pet to the fire about 2:55 a.m., Queen City News reported adding that it took about an hour to quell the flames.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause.
