Quickstop Fire Sprinkler Tools is based out of San Diego, California, and is owned by San Diego City Fire Engineer, Matt Scarpuzzi.
Matt has spent the last 8 years designing several tools that stop fire sprinklers from causing extensive water damage to buildings.
On April 11th, Matt presented his products to the Sharks on ABC in hopes of securing an investment and expanding his growing business. Matt explained his motivation by saying, “We are trying to promote fire sprinkler safety by reducing the water damage these systems have been known to cause. Too many times I have seen small fires that have been extinguished only to be followed by thousands of dollars in water damage. The concern of water damage has become strong enough to make some people hesitant to install these life saving systems in their buildings. Quickstop Tools provides those same individuals with piece of mind knowing that they now have the tools to stop that damage before it destroys their home or business.”
Going green with Quickstop Tools is a great way for your home or business to help protect the environment. Each tool has the potential to save millions of gallons of fresh water from being wasted, at the same time reducing the amount of building waste sent to landfills when these accidents happen.
