Rhodium Utilized in Response to South Carolina Shooting
Charleston, SC - An incident management tool produced by Incident Response Technologies, Inc. (IRT), was utilized in the response to a mass killing incident at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, SC, on June 17th, 2015. The incident, which resulted in the death of nine people, included a bomb threat and a prolonged search for the gunman.
The Rhodium Incident Management Suite was utilized to monitor and track officers during the initial response and resulting search for the suspect. Rhodium's incident management capabilities allow incident commanders to quickly review pre-plan data, view current situation status, and document actions from a user-friendly touch screen interface.
State and local agencies in South Carolina have put their Rhodium accounts to use during several events and incidents so far this year. Those events included Myrtle Beach Bike Week, a State Declared Winter Weather Emergency, and the Bridge Run Marathon - the 3rd largest marathon in the United States.
