The unparalleled design and workmanship of two new pulleys from CMC Rescue make them ideal for confined space and industrial rescue applications. The design of both the CSR2 (Confined Space Rescue) Pulley and the CSR2 Double Pulley comes from years of in-the-field experience as well as customer feedback.
Every detail—from overall shape to sheave—has been considered. The ergonomic CSR2 is stronger and lighter and incorporates 7/16 in (11 mm) to 1/2 in (13 mm) lifeline. It uses a proprietary patented locking system that eliminates a toothed cam or Prusik so it can be safely and easily released while under load. An integral thrust-bearing swivel reduces torque by aligning the pulley with the load, thereby increasing efficiency and safety. The large swivel opening easily accommodates rescue-size carabiners.
The CSR2 Pulley is machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum and features a high-strength aluminum side plate, sealed bearings and anodized aluminum sheaves. The location of the side becket allows for maximum lift height and full retraction of the system, and a removable becket cover facilitates changing out lifeline with sewn terminations.
Designed by rescuers for rescuers, the CSR2 Pulley System is the perfect choice for responders requiring the most compact solution for a 4:1 mechanical advantage system for confined space rescue and industrial applications.
