Pumper/Tanker Delivered to New Ulm, MN, Fire Dept.

New Ulm, MN, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire tanker-pumper built on a Kenworth T370 chassis with a Paccar PX-9, 380-hp engine and Allison 3000EVS transmission. Unit has a 3,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank, Hale HPX 300-gpm pump, a 2.5-inch direct tank fill, and a tank level, two side and one rear stainless steel Newton 10-inch square dump valves, 36-inch telescoping chutes, a Zico electric tank carrier and a 3,000-gallon portable tank. It has an All-Poly construction with "Sweep Out" style compartments, including R.O.M. anodized aluminum roll-up doors, activated LED lighting, vents and floor drying decking, NFPA compliant LED lighted folding steps and grab rails, rear view safety camera, Whelen scene lights, Kussmaul air and battery conditioner, and compliant LED DOT lighting.
