THE BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE, MD, RESCUE SQUAD has taken delivery of a PLC Custom/Rescue 1 heavy rescue built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis. The hydraulic rescue tool system uses an Amkus Ultimate pump system with six pre-connected reels to enable simultaneous use of up to 10 hydraulic tools up to 125 feet from the truck. LAS VEGAS FIRE & RESCUE has taken delivery of seven Medtec M170 Type I ambulances.
