Hale Products Launches KP Pump Series at FDIC International

Hale Products is launching its KP series of mid-or rear-mounted pumps features a multi-pressure option, low cost of ownership and is easily installed and maintained in the smallest and lightest offering on the market.

Ocala, FL (April 21,2016)–Hale Products, Inc. is launching its KP series of mid-or rear-mounted pumps during FDIC International in Indianapolis. This product line features a multi-pressure option, low cost of ownership and is easily installed and maintained in the smallest and lightest offering on the market.

“The KP pump series was created in response to a growing need we’ve seen for installations of smaller, lighter pumps,” said Jeff VanMeter, pumps product manager for Hale Products. “The new configuration requires no forced mechanical maintenance and its size and multi-pressure operation is ideal for wild land applications.”

Hale is the first manufacturer of fire pumps to offer a multi-pressure pump for smaller truck applications. The KP series includes a single, dry-running piston primer that is bench-maintainable for easy maintenance. All high-pressure features are bolt-on and the pump cuts off the primer at high speeds, allowing seals to last longer. The symmetrical design allows for easy installation with either engine or opposite engine rotations.

The series includes two pressure and size options:

Low-pressure: 500 gpm at 150 psi; 19.4in x 11.8in x 18.0in
High-pressure: 500 gpm at 150 psi and 106 gpm at 600 psi; 20.7in x 12.4in x 21.2in2.4in x21.2in
