The Gallatin Gateway (Mont.) Rural Fire Department and the Silverton (Ore.) Fire District a have ordered apparatus from KME Fire Apparatus.
Gallatin Gateway has ordered an Eliminator Pumper/Tender built on an International 7600 cab and chassis, powered by a MaxxForce 13, 475 hp engine.
It will have a Hale DSD 1,250-gpm pump and a 3,000-gallon polypropylene tank. The apparatus, which was sold by Mark Merritt of Cascade Fire and Safety, Yakima, Wash., is expected to be delivered in June.
The Silverton Fire District has also placed an order for a KME pumper.
The unit will be built on a KME Predator Panther cab and chassis with a Challenger body. It will be powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450 hp and have a Hale Qmax 1,500 gpm pump and a 1,000-gallon polypropylene tank. It will also have a 12-volt Command Light scene light.
Additional options include an auxiliary pump made by Darley and a front bumper turret and front bumper sweeps.
The Silverton unit, which was sold by Eric Hall of Cascade Fire and Safety, Yakima, Wash., is expected to be delivered by late this year.
