Midwest Fire Equipment Gets U.S. Forest Service Vendor Approval
Midwest Fire Equipment and Repair Company, (Midwest Fire) announced the company has received notification from the United States Forest Service that two of their fire apparatus have qualified to be approved by their vendor qualifications.
Midwest Fire’s Superintendent and Water Tender equipment met all the requirements stipulated by the U.S. Forest Service.
“Our products have been field tested and used by fire fighters from around North America for many years,” said Midwest Fire President and CEO Sarah Atchison. “We are honored that the U.S. Forest Service believes our two fire apparatus meet their requirements.”
Local, regional and national fire equipment buyers that purchase equipment based on U.S. Forest Service standards will now be able to purchase the two types of fire apparatus from Midwest Fire.
“There are many great companies in the fire industry that build great ladder trucks, larger fire trucks for bigger metropolitan areas and other great equipment. We believe our equipment meets a unique niche with specific requirements for regions where tanker-pumpers like ours can quickly contain and eliminate smaller fires before they grow larger. We look forward to serving the continual needs of the U.S. Forest Service agencies around the country,” said Atchison.
