Rosenbauer America Unveils Redesigned Warrior Custom Fire Chassis
Rosenbauer Motors unveiled the redesigned Warrior custom fire chassis during FDIC 2015 in Indianapolis. The Warrior features a 96-inch cab width to meet the needs of municipalities with narrow roadways. This is the second custom fire chassis product manufactured by Rosenbauer Motors in Wyoming, Minnesota.
Rosenbauer Motors carried over its spacious interior for crew with a low engine tunnel from the Commander chassis creating ample hip room for driver and officer.
The Warrior is available in 54-inch and 70-inch cab lengths with two roof options, flat or 8-inch raised. The windshield is a single-piece bonded windshield with the new three wiper system. Structural integrity has been certified up to 120,000 pounds.
Grill options include a chrome version or a flat stainless steel option.
The new chassis is powered by Cummins ISL engines up to 450 hp. Customers have the option of using the Allison 3000 or 4000 EVS transmissions.
Axle ratings include the following:
• Steer : 18k, 20k, 21.5k, 22.8k
• Drive: 24k, 27k, 31.5k, 32.5k, 35k
• Rear: 40k, 44k
Rosenbauer offers hot-dip galvanized frame rails for the ultimate in corrosion protection. Standard powder coated frame rails are standard.
