Ferrara Fire Brings Its Latest Pumpers to FDIC

Ferrara will exhibit its latest fire apparatus and technology at Booth #3701 in Indianapolis.

HOLDEN, LA – April 16, 2024Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., a subsidiary of REV Group, Inc., and leading manufacturer of custom-built, heavy-duty fire apparatus, will exhibit its latest fire apparatus and technology at FDIC International (Fire Department Instructors Conference) in Indianapolis, Indiana from April 18-20, 2024, Booth #3701.

“Ferrara is known for its custom-built fire apparatus designed to meet today’s demanding conditions,” said Larry Daniels, senior director, global sales, REV Fire Group. “We are bringing a selection of trucks that best demonstrate what we design and manufacture at Ferrara and we look forward to showing our customers and introducing some new customers to Ferrara.”  

To showcase Ferrara’s “Take Command” stance, the featured trucks include:

  • FC-94 Side Mount Pumper for Earlington Fire Department, Kentucky: Specs include a 102’ wide extruded aluminum body, full height rescue style compartments, 1,000-gallon tank, 20-gallon foam cell, 1,250 GPM pump, and enclosed through the tank ladder and backboard storage. 
  • Cinder Custom Pumper for Prairieville Fire Department, Louisiana: Built on the Cinder Extended chassis, this side-mount pumper features a heavy-duty frame rail style 18” front bumper, 2,000 GPM pump, 1,000-gallon water tank and 30-gallon foam tank, triple crosslays, rescue style compartments, and rooftop storage. 
  • Cinder Custom Pumper for White River Township Fire Department, Indiana: This side-mount pumper features the Cinder Extended Chassis with 102’ extruded aluminum low hosebed body, 1,750 GPM pump, 1,000-gallon water tank, rescue style compartments and enclosed ladder and suction storage behind tank.

In addition, attendees and customers are invited to visit REV Fire Group Booth #4200 to celebrate first responders and to see the all-electric North American style Vector fire truck built for Toronto Fire Services. Continuing past years’ theme “Protecting Those Who Protect Us,” REV Fire Group will host ‘REV It Up Coffee and Conversation with FDIC Live’ each morning, and ‘REV It Up Happy Hour’ and live product walk-arounds on Thursday and Friday, including live interviews with National Fire Radio.
