Beverly Hills, CA, Fire Department has a new 107-foot aerial tiller, built by Pierce Mfg., in service.

Beverly Hills, CA, Fire Department has a new 107-foot aerial tiller, built by Pierce Mfg., in service.It is built on a Pierce Arrow XT cab and chassis powered by a Detroit Diesel DD 13 525-hp engine with an Allison transmission. It is equipped with a Harrison 10,000-watt hydraulic generator, Whelen warning and scene lights, Code 3 warning and scene lights, a Kussmaul battery conditioner and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
