A Boston aerial was damaged when it was struck by an SUV while it was parked at the fire department's headquarters early Monday.
The incident happened at around 5 a.m. at the Boston Fire Department's headquarters in the city's Roxbury neighborhood, WHDH-TV reports. The aerial was parked outside when it was rear-ended by the SUV, causing heavy front-end damage to that vehicle.
A civilian was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Boston EMS told WHDH. It's not clear if any firefighters were in the apparatus at the time of the incident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
