    St. Louis Paramedic Injured in Ambulance Hit-and-Run Crash

    A St. Louis ambulance was responding to a call Wednesday when it was struck by a car, and that vehicle's driver fled the scene following the accident.

    A St. Louis paramedic suffered minor injuries when a car hit an ambulance and then drove off early Wednesday.

    The hit-and-run accident happened at about 1:30 a.m. in north St. Louis, KTVI-TV reports. The ambulance was responding to a call when it was struck by another vehicle.

    After the crash, the driver fled. Police arrested the driver soon after the accident, KTVI added.
