Candia, NH, Ambulance Wreck Leaves Two Hurt

The crash occurred after the ambulance driver suffered a medical emergency, Candia fire officials said.

Two ambuance personnel were injured in a crash while returning from a call Monday night after the driver suffered an apparent medical emergency. 

The vehicle went off the road and crashed into a ditch about 200 feet from the road, Candia fire officials told WMUR. 

The passenger was able to get out of the ambulance safely and treated the unresponsive driver before additional crews arrived.

Both were transported to a hospital. The passenger was released after treatment while the driver was listed in stable condition.

No other vehicles were involved.
