EMTs Hurt in Scott County, VA, Ambulance Crash

The driver of the Scott County Life Saving Crew ambulance was charged with failure to maintain control.

As snow fell in Scott County Wednesday morning, an ambulance veered off the road leaving two EMTs hurt.

The patient riding in the Scott County Life Saving Crew ambulance was not injured in the wreck, according to WJHL

Virginia State Police reported the ambulance was headed north on U.S. 23 when it crossed the centerline in a curve and crashed.

The driver of the ambulance was charged with failure to maintain control.

Duffield Volunteer Fire & Rescue responded to the incident to assist.
