Topeka Fire Department will take delivery of this walk-thru hazardous materials unit, built by SVI, with a slide-out room extension.

SVI built this walk-thru hazardous materials unit for the Topeka, KS, Fire Department on a Spartan Metrostar chassis with a 250-inch wheelbase.

The 24-foot aluminum SVI body features a walk-thru body interior with a 10-foot-wide slide-out room extension. It is outfitted with Onscene Solutions transverse cargo slide, four Onscene Solutions down-and-out cargo trays, two Carefree Mirage awnings, a Hannay electric cable reel
and a Lista Drawer cabinet.

Lighting includes Onscene Solutions Access PRO LED lighting, a Command Light KL Series light tower.

The rig is powered by a Cummins L9 engine and Allison 3000 EVS transmission and is equipped with a Big Foot Automatic Vehicle Leveling System.
