Delivery: Boston Heavy Rescue

The Boston Fire Department has taken delivery of two E-One Typhoon heavy rescue vehicles.

The Boston Fire Department has taken delivery of two E-ONE heavy rescue vehicles with a single rear axle.

Boston’s heavy rescues are custom walk-ins with 72” interior headroom built on stainless steel Typhoon chassis.

The vehicles are powered by Cummins L-9 450-HP engines.

Each truck has a 18,000 pound Warn hydraulic winch and a Onan 25KW generator.
