Elmwood Park, NJ, Fire Department has placed into service a 2018 E-One Typhoon model top-mount pumper.

Elmwood Park, NJ, Fire Department has placed into service a 2018 E-One Typhoon model top-mount pumper with a Waterous 2,000-gpm pump and 780-gallon water tank. The cab has a 14-inch raised roof with seating for eight, plus storage space. There are three cross-lay hose beds, front discharge gate, two rear discharge gates and a booster reel located under the rear hose bed. It also features a "turning camera" mounted on the officer's side which is activated when the direction signal is turned on. There is also a rear back-up camera and it carries 1,500 feet of 5-inch large diameter hose.
