Providence, RI, Firefighter Pinned Between Fire Engine, Car is OK

The firefighter was trying to get the Providence rig moving when it slid and pinned him.

A Providence firefighter suffered minor injuries when he got pinned between a stuck fire engine and a car early Sunday morning.

The firefighter was trying to get the Engine 14 rig moving when it slid and pinned him.

He was quickly freed, WPRI reported.
