Civilian Killed when Car Hits Parked Rochester, NY, Rig

    Rochester firefighters were tending to an incident when the collision occurred.

    A civilian was killed after she ran a red light and her car struck the rear of a parked Rochester fire truck.

    The woman driving the Volvo was pronounced dead at a local hospital while a passenger, 32, was injured, WROC reported. 

    Firefighters were tending to an incident when their vehicle was hit. Emergency lights were activated. 

    Rochester Police are investigating.
