A man was severely injured when his vehicle was involved in a crash with a Virginia fire apparatus Friday.
The accident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. in front of the Hampton Fire Department's Station No. 1, WAVY-TV reports. A car became pinned against the front of an apparatus, and the man had to be extricated from the vehicle.
It's not clear how the crash happened. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to WAVY.
